In October I had the pleasure of doing the lovely Louise’s wedding hair. Louise happens to be a close friend of my sister, and so when she approached me to do her wedding hair I was delighted. I have grown up with Louise and my sister’s friends through University and beyond, so it felt like a family affair.
Louise was getting married at the stunning Styal Lodge after a ceremony in her local church in Chorlton. Due to the ceremony starting at 12pm I knew it was going to be an early morning of styling, however it was an extremely relaxed affair with Louise being super cool in the hours leading up to her wedding.
Having had a bridal trial 2 months earlier, Louise had ruled out an updo for her wedding, she knew exactly what she wanted which was a dream. We created a half up, half down style which added glamour to Louise’s look without taking away from her personality and sense of style. Louise had chosen a stunning beaded headband that she was going to wear and this set off the whole look perfectly.
I was also lucky enough to style three of the bridesmaid’s hair while the lovely Caroline Ashcroft helped me with the other three bridesmaids of the bridal party.
Here are some pictures of the lovely Louise getting ready and the bridesmaids, plus pictures from the venue and wedding day, courtesy of Jonny Draper Photography.
