Natalie & Steven Grainger – Saturday 22nd August 2015
I think you’ll agree with me when I say a woman’s wedding day could, quite possibly, be the best day of her life. What struck the Unique Bridal Beauty team as odd was how much we enjoyed taking part in Natalie & Steven’s magnificent wedding.
Allow me to paint the picture for you: set in the landscape of Cranborne Chase, of which the grounds were originally designed in 1880 for ‘public enlightenment and entertainment’, the ‘garden of national importance’ features a number of ornate buildings and a theatrically painted stage, both completely in keeping with the rest of the gardens, which display perfectly preened flowers, lawns and laurels. The gardens reach out into a woodland area and stream, where peacocks can be found roaming proudly and confidently – ‘a place they call home’. A truly magical venue, where Natalie and Steven declared their love for one another in front of close friends and family, many of whom had traveled from far and wide to witness their momentous occasion.
We had the pleasure of beautifying the bridesmaids and mother of the bride so that they looked and felt radiant on the day – a piece of cake, considering they are a very attractive family. We began working on our clients at a venue close to the wedding location and had a tight schedule to ensure all four were ready in time for the event at 2pm.
Each of the looks was created using a range of products, from MAC and Bobbi Brown to Charlotte Tilbury. We worked carefully to ensure the makeup complemented their outfits; for example, picking out hints of colour, such as the emerald green in the mother of the brides dress, and matching elements in her eye makeup.
The bride chose to wear her hair in a relaxed half up style, with natural curls, which worked perfectly with her bespoke wedding gown, designed by Annasul Y.
It’s not every day you can say that you have traveled to and worked at an exquisite venue and helped a group of fabulous women look and feel beautiful.
The overall experience will be a memory we shall treasure forever.
Wishing Natalie and Steven a wonderful marriage together.
